Terms of use

Study Hub service terms

These terms describe acceptable use of Study Hub and the responsibilities of account holders, parents, and school users.

Account responsibility

Users must provide accurate account information, protect their sign-in credentials, and use the account only for authorized educational purposes. A parent account is view-only and must not be used to bypass student or school permissions.

Acceptable use

Users may upload materials they own or are permitted to use. Users may not upload malware, illegal content, confidential records they are not authorized to disclose, or copyrighted books and media that they are not permitted to copy. Users may not attempt to access another person's account, class, files, or data.

Educational output

Generated questions, grading, explanations, and recommendations are study aids. They may contain errors and should not replace teacher judgment, official grades, accommodations, or school curriculum requirements.

Subscriptions and credits

Student subscriptions may begin with a stated trial and then renew at the displayed price unless canceled. Access continues through the current billing or trial period after cancellation. Plan credits refresh monthly and remain subject to daily and hourly safeguards. A one-time credit reset applies only to the current monthly balance and does not change the recurring plan. Stripe processes payment information. Any cancellation or refund terms shown during checkout control the transaction. Disconnecting or revoking Google Classroom does not delete materials already copied into Study Hub; account deletion is governed by the Privacy Notice.

Availability and changes

Study Hub may update features, security controls, integrations, or these terms to improve the service or meet legal and technical requirements. The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

Support and notices

Account and product questions may be sent to support@studyhubstudent.com. Privacy requests should be sent to privacy@studyhubstudent.com, and suspected vulnerabilities to security@studyhubstudent.com.

School review

District or school use is subject to the institution's own technology, privacy, records, accessibility, and procurement review. The district review packet, security whitepaper, and public security page are intended to support that review. Study Hub can provision controlled complimentary access for an approved school pilot without requiring students to enter payment information; any district-paid deployment remains subject to a separate written agreement.
